Project Accomplishments • Successful, on-time deployment • Improved data gathering and reporting capabilities • Provides a more accurate picture of adult abuse/neglect/exploitation (A/N/E) within New Mexico • Streamlined business processes • Faster screening of A/N/E reports • Quicker assignment of cases to workers • Workers are able to more rapidly get out into the field and to conduct face-to-face visits with clients

  4. Hosting • APSS is a vendor built and vendor hosted solution • Pending the completion of a period of stabilization, ALTSD will reevaluate hosting arrangements • If it is determined the system cannot feasibly be migrated to the DoIT data center and meets the SaaS criteria defined by DoIT, ALTSD will request annual extensions to the externally hosted exception.

  5. Production Plan • System Maintenance • Harmony (vendor) hosts and maintains the database and related application • Funded through ALTSD APS base budget • ALTSD IT staff members are APSS system administrators • Maintain all configurable aspects of the system • Interface directly with Harmony support staff to collaboratively resolve issues to which IT does not have access • Provide direct end user support
