FDC_KX6 Mode Selection. Mode Selection of All KX Outdoor Unit based on the indoor unit operation. I/U – 1 is switch on in cooling (B) O/U will operate in cooling only (B) I/U – 2 is then switch on in Heating. The unit will only run as “Fan” whilst the O/U is operating in cooling mode (C)

  2. Mode Selection of All KX Outdoor Unit based on the indoor unit operation • I/U – 1 is switch on in cooling (B) • O/U will operate in cooling only (B) • I/U – 2 is then switch on in Heating. The unit will only run as “Fan” whilst the O/U is operating in cooling mode (C) • I/U – 1 is switched off (D) • O/U – Changes its operation to heating only if no I/U is in cooling mode and one i/u is in heating mode. (D) • I/U – 2 Operates in heating mode (D) • I/U -1 is switch on but only operates in “Fan” mode whilst the o/u is in heating mode. (E) • I/U – 2 Is Thermo off. If all heating units are then Thermo OFF, Outdoor unit goes off and keeps heating mode.

  3. RC Shows "Invalid Operation" "Invalid Operation" disappears RC Shows "Invalid Operation" Unit operates as "fan" (Display Keep "Heating)

Mode Selection of Outdoor Unit based on forced Heating or Cooling operation • SW3-7 is switch on in the O/U • CNS is open for “Forced Cooling” (A) • O/U operates is cooling mode (B) • I/U – 1 is switch on in cooling mode and it operates normally (B) • I/U – 2 is switch on in Cooling (B) • I/U – 2 is switched over to heating mode. RC shows “Mode Invalid” fan operation “Heating” displayed. (C) • CNS is closed for “Forced Heating” (D) • O/U changes operation mode to “Heating” (D) • I/U – 1 RC shows “Mode Invalid” Displays keep cooling operates as “Fan” (D) • I/U – 2 Model invalid disappears and the unit operates as normal in heating mode. (D)

  5. Start Showing "Mode Invalid" Display keeps "Cooling" Operates as "Fan" "Mode Invalid" fan operation "Heating" display. "Mode Invalid" Disappears
