  1. Yo tengo – I have, do have, am having Tú tienes – you have, etc. Él, ella, usted tiene – he, she, you has(have) Nosotros tenemos – we have, etc. Vosotros tenéis – you all have, etc. Ellos, ellas, ustedes tienen – they,you all have Tener – to have

  2. Examples: • ¿ Tienes una clase ? Do you have a class? Tengo una clase hoy. • I have a class today. Tener is used in many idiomatic expressions. (expressions that are not translated word for word like “Give me a break! We don’t really want someone to “break” us!!)
