  2. Participants • 135 Youth Served 89 In-School Youth – 66% 46 Out-of-School Youth – 34%

Younger Youth Goal Attainment • 111 of 123 Younger Youth Goals were attained 90% Goal Attainment Goal Attainments include:Credential Attainments, Work Experience, Basic Skills Achievement, Enter Post-Secondary School,Military Enlistment (Contract requires 1 goal attainment per year per participant)

  4. Younger Youth Skill Attainment • 99 of 113 Younger Youth Skill Attainments 88% Skill Attainment Skill Attainments include:Work Readiness, Work Experience, Enrollment in High School and/or Post-Secondary, Enrollment in Technical Training, Basic Skills Training (Contract requires 75%)

  5. Younger Youth Credential Attainment • 51 of 58 Younger Youth Credential Attainment 88% Credential Attainment Credential Attainments include:High School Diploma, Occupational Completion Point, Technical Training Certification, AA., AS., BA., BS. (Contract requires 50%)

  6. Younger Youth Positive Outcomes • 34 of 40 Younger Youth Positive Outcomes 85% Positive Outcomes Positive Outcomes include: Entrance into post-secondary education, military enlistment, unsubsidized employment, enrollment in approved apprenticeship program. (Contract requires 80%)

Older Youth Credential Attainment • 12 of 13 Older Youth Credential Attainment 92% Credential Attainment Older Youth Credential Attainment includes: Credential Attainments include:High School Diploma, Occupational Completion Point, Technical Training Certification, AA., AS., BA., BS. (Contract requires 40%)

Ayla Gaoa • In-School Youth • Joined WIA – August 2013 - Goal to become a Pediatrician • Began WIA work-experience at Growing Child Pediatrics - November 2013 working with patient files • Enrolled in PSC Jan 2014, Nursing Program • August, 2014 – Full-time employment with Sacred Heart Pediatric Medical Group in Pace (previously Growing Child Pediatrics)!

  12. Jason Gonzalez • Enrolled in WIA January 2014 • Dual Enrolled at Jay High School and Locklin Tech’s Computer Systems & Information Technology Program • Received Certificate of Occupational Competency • Participated in Work Experience while dual enrolled. • Outstanding work ethic and desire to learn. • Received a Full Scholarship to continue his Post-Secondary education at Locklin Tech.

  13. Richard Liebe • Out-of-School, Younger Youth • Completed Locklin Tech’s Electricity Program • Participated in Work Experience activities at Santa Rosa Medical Center and DeGraaf Systems while enrolled in school. • Full-time employment with Mundy Companies (Contractor at Ascend) earning $12.55 per hour with overtime opportunities as well as benefits! • Ricky says WIA has helped pave the way for him to be successful in his career and for him to have the job he has now!
