  1. PAYTON GOES TO TAINAN Student Exchange in Deguang Catholic High School 張德廣天主教高中 Vicky Eng 11/12/12-11/16/12

  2. DAY ONE

  3. Chinese Orchestra, Crafts, & Sports After the campus tour, we spent the rest of our day participating in various cultural activities. We learned to play the er hu which was surprisingly easy since I play violin. In crafts, we made bracelets and a Christmas ornaments to bring home. After a day of walking through the whole campus, we got to to show off our basketball skills.

  4. DAY TWO

  5. Charades & Cooking We made a type of food that tasted alright but was fun to make. We also visited the Chinese Learning Center at the University and taught a music classes various dances such as: the cha-cha slide, jump on it, and the Macarena. Charades with the International Exchange students was fun. We played two different games and my team ended up winning and got cute little gifts.

  6. DAY THREE

  7. Touring Tainan We visited several historical sites of Tainan. The tour was a little too long but it was still cool to explore the city. After a long day, we met the Vice Mayor on behalf of the Mayor of Tainan. We spent the day with students from DG and TFSHS. We got to sit in two of their classes and the students were awesome.

  8. DAY FOUR

  9. Studying at DG We attended two of our study buddies’ classes, Life Education and PE. In PE, we played volleyball and it was refreshing. We even learned about different chinese festivals, calligraphy, stamping, and got to chill with the International students. At their Thursday assembly, we sang Dui Bu Qi in front of the whole school.
