  1. QMWG Update to WMS S. Looney September 12, 2012

  2. DRAFT NPRR AS Capacity Monitor Revision – QMWG members requested additional information on AS Capacity Monitor Display. Will make the revisions we discussed to the DRAF T and take to MISUG. • NPRR207, NPRR222 and NPRR416 – Discussed with ERCOT. The NPRR222 language was not included in the NPRR416 language. New NPRR needs to be drafted and submitted by ERCOT.

  3. Implementation of NPRR313 – Black Start Availability Plan submission. ERCOT will give a project update at next QMWG meeting. • Operating issues with Startup and Shutdown statuses’ implementation. ERCOT prefers adjustment of telemetered ramp rate to control HDL/LDL during startup. May need to include zero in low reasonability limit of ramp rates.

  4. Regulation Bias Issue – ERCOT presented report of August data. Luminant presented DRAFT NPRR for specifying Generation to be Dispatched calculation. GTBD would equal the sum of expected UDBPs plus all deployed regulation at the time of SCED execution with adjustments for forecasted net load change and frequency bias. Request QSEs to review with their Generation Control SMEs.

  5. RARF Revisions – ERCOT is reviewing the survey results to determine if it would be appropriate to make changes to the requested data. ERCOT referred the group to a September 27, 2011 workshop regarding the need for the additional data to be used in modeling steady state and dynamic studies. • Wind Production/Control Oscillations – ERCOT is reviewing the operating data from August 23, 07:53 and August 24, 23:25. Will bring results to next QMWG.
