(Come up with a comeback) This weekend on the show “Cashin’ In,” Fox News analyst Jonathan Hoenig asserted that global warming was “bogus,” and “dreamed up” by environmentalists to stop economic development: “There’s no proof that global warming even exists. To be honest, it’s a bogus consensus dreamed up by Greens because they hate industry. They hate advancement. They hate technology…Greens will lead us back to the stone ages.” – Jonathan Hoenig

Check Point 2: Drafting the Body Individual Work Time: 30 min Using your outline organizer, on a separate sheet of paper draft at least ONE supporting paragraph & your counterargument Question to consider… • What has your country done? Cite sources • Why should other countries follow? • How might the world benefit? • PROGNOSTICATION (how will this help us down the line/in the future?) • What are reasons why other countries should adopt your plans?
