  9. 香港的信息 Information from Hong Kong 在2006年向香港卫生署呈报的艾滋病病毒新感染个案为373宗，是有纪录而来最高的一年。与2005年的313宗艾滋病病毒新感染个案比较，升幅为19%。 去年第四季共有98人于接受艾滋病病毒(人类免疫力缺乏病毒)抗体检验时呈阳性反应。98名艾滋病病毒感染人士中，83名为男性，15名为女性。 It was reported by Hong Kong Health Bureau in 2006 that the newly HIV infections was 373, which there is a 19% increase compared in 2005 (313 HIV infected cases). In Quarter 4 of 2006, there was 98 HIV infections including 83 male and 15 female.

  10. 香港的信息 Information from Hong Kong • 在98宗新感染个案中，23人是透过异性性接触感染，30人是透过同性或双性性接触感染。16名为注射毒品人士，2名透过母婴传播感染，而27名感染者的传播途径因资料不足而未能确定。 • 据悉，自1984年以来，香港的艾滋病病毒感染报告已累积至3198人，其中75%是透过性接触感染，而其中的67%的性接触个案是透过异性性接触感染。172名感染个案为注射毒品人士。 • Among 98 HIV infections reported in Quarter 4 of 2006, 23 infected via hetero sexual contact, 30 via homo sexual contact or bi-sexual contact. 16 infected via IDUs, and 2 via MTCT. However, there is unknown transmission routes among the other 27 HIV infections. • According to the report, there is an accumulated 3198 HIV infections in Hong Kong since 1984, 75% are infected via sexual transmission, including 67% heterosexual contact. 172 HIV infected cases are also injecting drug users.
