  2. Reminder to candidatesCheck your Entry Prooffor Date and Time of exam

  3. Attire • Students are required to be in their school uniform when sitting for the examinations. (with collar badge) • Hire-style / Hair length / Appearance: FOLLOW School rules.

  4. Be Punctual • Candidates must report to school at least 30 minutes beforethe commencement of the examination. • Candidates who are late WILL NOT be given extra time • Candidates are required to place their NRIC or foreign identification document & entry proof on their desks throughout the duration of the examination.

  5. Venue of the Examinations: School Hall/Classroom • Line-up outside Science lab 30min before start of paper • 4E1-4E3- level 1 • 4E4-5A2- level 2

  6. Just Before the Start of Examination • Check the noticeboard for your seating arrangement. • Sit according to index number and revise quietly at the waiting area. • Take out your pencil case / stationery items. Check that you have no unauthorized material or notes. • Leave your bags and other belongings at the back of the Hall.

  7. REMINDER  • NO borrowing allowed Remember to bring the following: • Stationery • Approved Dictionaries • NRIC or foreign identification documents • Entry Proof

  8. Use of Dictionary • Only dictionaries with the following school logo is permitted in the CL and ML Examination • Ensure your MT dictionary has been stamped and that it is NOT a bilingual dictionary • Only the permitted electronic dictionary by Creative Technology and Besta will be accepted • The dictionaries used must nothave any annotations on any of the pages.

  9. Appropriate Behaviour • Be quiet. No communication with others when you are in the examination venue. • Raise your hand if you have a question or problem. • Candidates who wish to go to the toilet during the examination will be escorted by a teacher. • Candidates are required to remain in the exam venue forthe full duration of the examination. No one leaves early.

  10. Inappropriate Materials • No books or notes of any sort are allowed in the examination venue. • Do not use correction tape or fluid during the examination. Neatly cross out any errors that you make. • No possession of handphone, digital watches.

  11. After the examination… • Stop writing the moment you are told to do so. • Remain quietly seated while the answer scripts are being collected. • Check that you have submitted all question/writing papers. • All used and unused writing paper will be collected.

  12. Honesty and Integrity • No mobile phones or other electronic transmitting equipment are allowed. Please switch off your phones and leave them in your bags. • If candidates are caught with unauthorised materials/equipment during the exam, candidates will be suspected of having the intention to cheat.

  13. Medical Condition • Candidates who are on MC (but well enough to take the examinations) will be taking their examinations. Please inform school that you have MC. • Candidates who are not able to report for the exam are to inform the school immediately. • Phone: 6315 8616

  14. Hospitalisation/Contagious Disease • Chicken Pox, Hospitalisation • Inform school the day before exam. • You would be informed the action required.

  15. Major Train Service Disruption • Candidates can go to the nearest exam centre to sit for the exam before the end of the paper (if they are unable to reach the designated exam centre on time). • Candidates who report at the exam centre after the paper has started, but before the end of the paper will be given full duration to complete the examination.

  16. Major Train Service Disruption • Candidates who report at the exam centre after the paper has ended are NOT allowed to sit for the examination.

  17. Haze Students are to report to school as per normal.In the event that the haze situation worsens, a special room will be arranged for students with respiratory problems.Students with respiratory problems are advised to have their nebulizers with them at all times.When the haze situation reaches a hazardous level, you will be informed by the school of the what you need to do. Do not assume anything and make your own decision.

  18. Access ArrangementStudents who have applied for special arrangement will be taking your exam in a different venue. Report to your teachers then proceed to BLK G3-4 and be seated quietly outside the classroom. Students will have to bring the Access Arrangement approval document for verification
