WP3 – Joint approach for more efficient implementation of local energy strategies LEAD PARTNER AREANATejo has extensive experience in implementation and consulting in energy efficiency for public organizations. We will prepare the common model for comparison of existing approaches, a template scheme for the overview of existing approaches and assist partners in preparation of their overviews. We will also lead the formation of transnational expert working groups, prepare a template for collecting existing models and contribute existing models and knowledge to the database of existing models, best practices, methodologies and indicators. As Lead Partner, we will organize as well the workshops for partners and coordinate the organization of study visits. We will prepare the draft structure of the step-by-step guide, identify suitable topics and solutions for the guide, prepare the final guide in English and Portuguese and print it in both languages.

WP3 – Joint approach for more efficient implementation of local energy strategies • WP3 Activitiesand Outputs: • Overview of existing approaches to implementation of energy strategies in pilot areas – brainstorming/exchange of information between partners; • Joint list of obstacles in implementation of local energy strategies - brainstorming/exchange of information between partners; • Transnational Expert Working Groups on different types of RES and implementation obstacles – formation of 8 working groups, to be to be made according to the expertise and areas of activity of each partner (we will send a table to be filled in by each partner, asking to identify the skills and/or lack of information in the 8 activity areas): • Renewable Energies (Biomass, Solar Energy, Wind Energy and Hydropower) • Energetic Strategy (Energy Efficiency, Legislation, Trending Procedures and Funding)

WP3 – Joint approach for more efficient implementation of local energy strategies • WP3 Activitiesand Outputs: • Database of existing models, best practices, methodologies and indicators on implementation of energy strategies; • 7 workshops and 7 study visits for partners (these workshops and/or study visits will take place during the project’s meetings (advisory board meetings and/or technical meetings), in order to promote the exchange of good practices and knowledge between partners, thus involving also the stakeholders of the differente intervention areas; • Step-by-step Guide for efficient implementation of local energy strategies by forming local partnerships

Expected Results in GREEN PARTNERSHIPS’ Project • Strengthen the implementation of local public policies and strategies related to energy efficiency in cities and regions. • New approach, common guidelines and solutions regarding the implementation of local energy strategies by forming local partnerships. • Improve awareness and habits / long-term change in behaviour for greener cities.
