  2. Our goal for the Focus Project is to develop professional techniques by observing, discussing, and practicing with the help of a professional mentor in our content area.

  3. Routine is necessary, but needs to be moderated. • Interaction is very helpful to getting the students engaged with the material.

  6. Learned about techniques used to reach students with different learning abilities. • Learned how to manage a classroom while doing group work.

  8. Aly Piccolo and Stacey Wist • Learned how to create a positive environment where all students feel comfortable. • Learned how to prepare a week long unit of games that build upon each other. • Learned how to give the students the right amount of control.

  11. We each had our own individual goals, and were mostly partnered with different mentors, but we were all able to gain valuable experience that would not have been possible without this Focus Project.
