Australia’s national tourism database and online distribution platform Created in 2001, as a joint initiative of all Australian State & Territory Tourism Organisations and Tourism Australia Developed to create efficiency for the industry in the collection, management & multi-channel distribution of quality content Slide 3

The Australian Tourism Web Service (ATWS) is the mechanism for delivering the content to distributors The content is delivered in raw XML format Distributors must update the content on a regular basis e.g. Once a day to keep up to date.
