  3. Who is Sri Mulyani? Sri MulyaniIndrawati, born in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, 26th August 1962. She is the first Indonesia woman who had appointed as World Bank Managing Director. Adopting this position starting June 1, 2010. Previously, she served as Minister of Finance of the Kabinet Indonesia Bersatu. Once, she was based in the Office of the World Bank, she was practically left her post as finance minister.

  4. Who’s Sri Mulyani? Sri MulyaniIndrawati well known for her intelligent, assertive and integrity. Her talents as an economist has seen tough when the economy itself is often a guest speaker by the media, in the reign of Soeharto. Many critical thinking expressed by Sri Mulyani against Suharto's economic policy at that time. Some are convinced that the future of Sri Mulyani will be an important figure for Indonesia.

Sri Mulyani’s Profile Before she is appointed as Minister for National Development Planning / Head of BappenasKabinet Indonesia Bersatu, Sri Mulyani migrated to Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America as a consultant in USAid since August 2001 within the framework of cooperation to strengthen the institution in the area. That is, to give a scholarship for S-2(Stratum 2) students. In there, she gave many advice and counsel how to design S-2 programs for university of education in the area, in program another USAid program in Indonesia, especially in economy. SRI MULYANI

Sri Mulyani Achievements • Early October 2012, Sri Mulyani chose to be Executive Director Dana MoneterInternasional (IMF) represent 12 countries in South East Asia (South East Asia/SEA Group). • Since November 1st 2012, she represent 12 countries of SEA Group members in IMF. Her duty as executive director related with decision making. To determine various programmes and decisions that IMF have to take. • The first woman who ever appointed as World Bank Managing Director from Indonesia. • She was crowned as the best Asian Finance Ministry in 2006 by Emerging Markets in 18th September 2006 in the middle of World Bank Annusal Session and IMF in Singapore. • Chose to be 23rd influential women in the world Forbes Magazine version in 2008 and 2nd most influential womes in Indonesia Globe Asia version in October.
