KWELE PROJECT One of the Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation Projectswhich transferred the results or outcomes of another innovative projects or Leonardo da Vinci projects for Life Long Learningwas accepted by National Agency in 2007. Starting date of the activities: December 2007 Final date of the activities: November 2009

GENERAL OBJECTIVES To support participants in training and further training activities, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market To support improvements in quality and innovation in vocational education and training systems, institutions and practices

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Empowering women with social and vocational skills, Promoting gender-designed employment models, Raising the educational level of European staff, Increasing corporate governance and Labour rights awareness, Eliminating cultural norms and attitudes which are against female employment. Connecting European Training centres and Vocational education providers through an innovative gender-based approach

  5. TARGET GROUP Disadvantaged women who want to be a part of work life living in Turkey, Poland, Latvia and Greece

Models To Transfer from Previous Project Steps to the Future (Ballybeen-Northern Ireland): Model of innovative informal education which enables disadvantaged women to participate in social and economic life 4 Steps of informal learning were used to bring women from confidence building and pre vocational skills to Office specialist Certification. Fit for Europe (Kolping-Germany): Innovative model which consists in providing part-time 6-month trainings to young mothers Teaching units lead to qualifications and certification for “Europe Office management” Gender Experts (BD Center-Poland): Innovative training method leading to professional qualification as “Gender Experts”
