  3. About KSRZIS • COORDINATIONAL CENTER FOR DEPARTMENTAL MEDICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS • State organization directly controlled by the Ministry of Health • Established on January 2004 • Organization with 15 employees • Member of EHTEL • Netcards member • Ehealth competence center

  4. About KSRZIS • Implement and increase system security according to established standard 27000 • CSN ISO/IEC 27001 certification • CSN ISO/IEC 9001 certification • CSN ISO/IEC 20000 certifications (1&2) • ECDL certification

What do we do • Perform the medical informatics related tasks of the Ministry of Health • Take care of the deployment, development and operationof registers specified by the Ministry of Health • we administrate about 24 strategic information systems including high specialized „life-support“ registers

What do we do • Provide the medical information to medical staff and Ministry of Health • Execute experimental projects in conjunction with famous experts within the frame of public health • Cooperate with European registers • The European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (National Cardiosurgery Registry) • EIM ESHRE (National Registry of Assisted Reproduction) • Eurocare (National Registry of Oncological Diseases)

  9. Registers in KSRZIS • Data collecting in registers is mandatory since 2004 • NOR data collected since 1951 (the oldest data from 1933) • NKR 70% of institutions was able to collect data even from 1998 (some of them from 1993)

NROD • NROD - National Registry of people who refuse organ donations (post mortem) • all citizens are donnors except people who are in the register • every donnor must be checked in NROD before every transplant operation • 24x7 availability • in case of a system outage offline solution with current data is available • nonstop oncall support
