  2. The 2009 Perth International Track Cycling Grand Prix will be the 10th staging of Western Australia’s premier Track Cycling event. The November 7th 2009 date has been strategically selected to follow the first Track World Cup of the season in Manchester (UK) in late October and the second World Cup in Melbourne 11 days later. This allows countries travelling to Melbourne to use the PITCGP as a springboard between the two World Cups ensuring a truly world class field to attend. Australia is currently the number one nation in track cycling in the world and the 2009 PITCGP with the support of the Australian Institute of Sport will see cyclists of World and Olympic fame compete. (see attached photo of current Australian World Champions Anna Meares, Kaarle McCulloch and Josie Tomic .) We invite your company to join us in this sporting showcase, utilising an exciting Olympic sport and complemented by the magnificent SpeedDome stadium. INTRODUCTION BACK

  3. THE PROMOTION / ORGANISATION Track Cycling WA is a registered club with Cycling WA and is an affiliate of Cycling Australia. THE SPEEDDOME The SpeedDome is located in the heart of the Swan Valley and only 18kms from the CBD and boasts the following outstanding facilities 250m Timber banked Track 1355 grandstand seats Change room and meeting facilities Catering and Bar Facilities 450 hard stand car bays Up to date timing system (Swiss Timing system) VIP and Function capabilities Media Booths BACK

  5. TELEVISION COVERAGE A 30 minute television production will be produced and SBS Television has scheduled to replay the event on the 29th November 2009. Fox Sport has also registered an interest in the event. BACK

UCI ACCREDITATION The 2009 PITCGP has received UCI category 3 status, allowing UCI points to be allocated to countries endeavouring to gain sufficient points to qualify for the 2010 World Track Championships. The events registered with the UCI for the PITCGP (for Men and Women) are: Sprint Kieren Points Race Scratch Race BACK

  7. SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE Major Naming Rights Sponsor ($15,000) - One of Naming rights over PITCGP Signage on all promotional posters, flyers, clothing and advertisements. Full page advertisement in race program. 8 off, 600mm x 1800mm track balustrade signs. 4 off, 900mm x 1800mm infield fence signs. Invitation for 8 persons to attend the VIP Flight Deck. Presentation of winners by sponsor’s delegate. Sponsors product display (if appropriate.) Platinum Sponsor ($5000) - Four of Signage on all promotional posters, flyers and advertisements. Full page advertisement in race program. 4 off, 600mm x 1800mm track balustrade signs. 2 off, 900mm x 1800mm infield fence signs. Naming rights for a selected event on the race schedule. Invitation for 4 persons to attend the VIP Flight Deck. Sponsors product display (if appropriate.) Gold Sponsor ($1500) - Eight of Half page advertisement in race program. 2 off, 600mm x 1800mm track balustrade signs. 2 off, 900mm x 1800mm infield fence signs. Naming rights for a selected event on the race schedule. Invitation for 2 persons to attend the VIP Flight Deck. BACK
