    3. Coach Ray Bussard NCAA Coach of the Year, 1972 and 1978. SEC Coach of the Year, 72,73,75,77,78 1979 Pan Am Assistant Coach. 1984 Olympic Team Assistant Coach. National Collegiate and Scholastic Trophy in 1984. A native of Hot Springs, Virginia, Bussard was An AAU All-American in track and all state football player.
