Utility’s Certificate of Compliance for Steel & Iron Items • Certificate must be submitted to the WisDOT Utility Representative for all projects containing steel or iron before the invoice is processed. • Regions will send Central Office the original certificate of compliance with the invoice. • For a minimum of 3 years, the utility will retain all certification documents (receipts, purchase orders, etc.) proving fabrication was completed in the United States. • Certificate of Compliance is not necessary for projects that do not have steel and/or iron products.

  6. Updated Language in Agreements The COMPANY shall comply with the “Buy America” requirements as specified under 23 USC 313 and 23 CFR 635.410 when any part of this highway improvement project involves funding by the Federal Aid Highway Program. To complete the process of invoices submitted, the COMPANY shall also supply the DEPARTMENT with a signed DTXXX, Utility’s Certificate of Compliance for Steel and Iron Items.
