  1. Welcome to... A Day in the Life of Finlay Slade aged 11 from Glasgow, Scotland.

  2. Every Saturday I play football for my club, Giffnock. One Saturday a few weeks ago, after football, me and my family went to my cousin's wedding in St. (saint) Monans.

  3. St. Monans St. Monans is a fishing village that’s in the east of Scotland... It is where my grandmother was born and grew up. St Monans St Monans Harbour [the pots at the front are for catching lobsters] Glasgow It takes about 2 hours to drive from my house in Glasgow to visit our family in St Monans.

  4. The Church – St. Monans Kirk My cousin’s wedding was in this church in St Monans. We were lucky – the sun was shining, this does not happen every day in Scotland! A lot of my ancestors are buried here. In Scotland we often call churches ‘kirks.’ St Monans Kirk is famous because it was built right on the rocks by King David II in the 13th Century to give thanks for his survival after his ship was caught in a storm whilst crossing the Firth of Forth.

  5. Traditional Wedding Clothes for Men In Scotland men often wear kilts especially at weddings because it is traditional clothing. My cousin Jonny wore a kilt. plaid sporran kilt

  6. The Wedding Reception The reception was in the historic ruins of Lindores Abbey. I thought it was an amazing and atmospheric venue. There was a marquee which is an enormous white tent, this is where we had our food and the dancing. In the dark it looked magical.

  7. Ceilidh Dancing Ceilidh music is traditional and is great fun to dance to. There is always a fiddle, accordion and drum and sometimes bagpipes as well. The band at the wedding were fantastic and everybody enjoyed the dancing.

  8. I hope you enjoyed my power point, farewell from me in Scotland. مجھے امید ہے کہ اپ میری چھوٹی اقتدار سے الوداعی پوائنٹ اسکاٹ لینڈ
