  2. What’s Covered: IP Routing Table Extensions • Router Global Statistics • Count of Unprotected Routes, Count of Protected Routes, Count of Protected Routes by Protected Failure Type • Table of Protected Routes • Index includes Alternate Next-Hop to allow multiple per Primary Next-Hop (Supports ECMP) • Information about Alternate Next-Hop: Type, Protection provided, distance of Alternate path • Table of Unprotected Routes • Index by Route • Reports reason why Protection is lacking • Interface Table • Configuration on local interfaces. draft-atlas-ip-local-protect-loopfree-00.txt IETF-60 Routing Area WG

  3. What’s Not Covered: IGP & LDP • For the IGPs, will need • Is IP Fast-Reroute enabled on the area? • What is the local hold-down time? (This needs to be specified per area, because it depends on expected area convergence. This should be consistent within an area.) • Etc. • For LDP will need similar MIB to this one • Protected/Unprotected FECs • Alternate next-hop information, including alternate label • Etc. draft-atlas-ip-local-protect-loopfree-00.txt IETF-60 Routing Area WG

  4. What’s Next? • Is this grouping of related MIBs appropriate? • What else would be useful to include in the IP FRR IP MIB? • Is there interest in this draft MIB? • Draft includes support for U-turn alternates. • Should it include support for other candidate alternate types? Please send comments to the list. draft-atlas-ip-local-protect-loopfree-00.txt IETF-60 Routing Area WG
