Q1: How to reach out to people to expand FIND • Disseminate notes from FIND meetings • Like the way that IETF publishes notes • Articles in special issues of journals • Would prefer to have focused white papers • Provide Motivation for collaboration • What is the carrot? • Hold tracks/sessions at conferences • Hot Interconnects panel (August @ Stanford) • Discussion must be interactive • Needs to stimulate discussion • eg: Five minutes presentation, 40 minutes of Q & A • Work with European Union • FP6/FP7
Q2: How to engage students in FIND • Student exchange • 3-6 month internship • Summer school • NATO • Student workshops • Example: COESNERS • Emulab workshop
Q3 : How to run meetings with larger groups of people • Bring people from other communities • Example: Rep. from cell phone industry • Provide on-line access • White papers on websites • FIND WIKI
