  1. BISA The Individualised Diploma for BIS Students

  2. Testimonial 'Although for most of my life I followed the International Baccalaureate program, I chose not to take the IB Diploma in my last two years of high school because I knew that their curriculum was not the right match for me due to the lack of flexibility (and the restriction on art subjects). Living in Bali, I wanted to engage myself in the culture, the history and the environment that surrounded me and through BISA I was given the opportunity to do this. I also know that I learn most though experience and therefore I created my own curriculum - a combination of IB diploma classes and BISA projects. This allowed me to work practically by creating projects and earning credits involving the community surrounding me as well as earning credits in the IB classes I was still interested in! The approach of the BISA program is being the architect of your academic concentration instead of a having to choose a traditional curriculum. Bali International School provides the space that students need in order to create, experiment and explore their passions and I found that the only way to get in touch with this was through BISA.'
