(October / November) Detailed comparison table Summary table Key Findings / Issues / Recommendations paper (in draft) Gap Analysis -Practices, Procedures and Guidelines

  12. Key Findings/ Issues/ Recommendations Application Submission Continued involvement in MGP IMS and LUDS mapping websiteUpdated Guides GIS and Mapping Standard GIS submission guidelinesStaff Manuals, GIS sharing Current online ledger and registry for SLWB and GLWB (standardized) Public Registry Website/ Online Services Online registry, web mapping, common public calendars, GuidelineEmail-based wherever possible Items for Review section to website Document Distribution Data specifications for SNP and Annual water licence reporting Reports and Data

  13. ROs must apply- completeness check GIS submission guidelines Specifies requirements for electronic mapping submissions (when electronic maps are required and how they may be submitted). Standalone document or appendix to guides to completing an application. Rationale – GIS supports Board decision making by revealing cumulative impacts. GIS-based maps are of better quality and allow better analysis than paper distributions alone.

  14. SLWB Online Registry status update The SLWB have plans to implement an online registry early in 2009.Below is a summary of progress to date.

  15. Related Projects MGP Regulatory IMS - link • NGPS / INAC – Terriplan as developer • Online application forms, document submission and regulatory tracking. • INAC has invested over $100k on our behalf already. Land Use Permit Mapping Website - link • Interagency Land Use Data Sharing Working Group • INAC funded / GNWT managed project • Website to map LUP applications online (proponent or Board staff) • GNWT short-staffed and project is not progressing -We should consider deepening our involvement These 2 projects complement each other and our registry / mapping plans nicely.
