General Requirements Constraints Criteria Resemblance to existing product is better (brush, vacuum…) Faster is better Least deformation is preferred Less is better None is best Minimal force is preferred • Must be intuitive to an 8+ year old • Must show a visible improvement in disorder/mess within < 2 min of use • Must operate right after impact of 1.5m drop • Must use < 9V to supply power or standard power outlet • Should be < 1 hair lost/10 strokes • Should apply < 5N (to messy hair) • As defined in RFC 2119
