See if our faculty know faculty members at the schools you are interested in. • Ask profs for recommendation: • You should have had more than one class if possible • Work with them in research or special projects • Ask for recommendation letter well before deadline • Give prof pertinent information about you: Goals, GPA, GREs, volunteer work, etc. • Fill out all information on forms • Have organized with stamps etc. • If not applying this year, be sure to check with faculty before leaving campus to be sure they will write for you next year when you are off campus.
