Equipping • Eph 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ • Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord • John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

  3. Encouragement • The Lord is the source of encouragement, I Samuel 30:6. • God’s Word is our GPS (God’s Positioning System) to encouragement. (Pray for encouragement by God’s list.) Psalm 119:105 • We are called to encourage one another. I Thessalonians 5:11 (Pray to encourage one another.) God helps us to be a resource to one another.

Evangelizing • Preparing the heart for Evangelism with a promise: Psalms 51:12-13 • Purpose of Evangelism (that none be lost): John 17:12 • Provision of Evangelism: Romans 1:16 • Proclamation of Evangelism: Matthew 28:19-20 • Power for Evangelism: Acts 1:8 • Prize for Evangelism: Matthew 25:23

Empowering • Empowerment for Ourselves • Empowerment for our Families • Empowerment for our Churches • Empowerment for our State “Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, an both are preserved.” (Matt 9:17) God is stripping us away from our old wine skins and creating new wine skins for the purpose of the new wine (power).
