I will show what I have learned by recording 3 possible topics on an index card. • WU: MGRP: Multi-Genre Research Project • Watch video introducing biographical topics • Join Google Classroom: cx9uutf • Browse biographical articles & online lists. • Closure: Make a list of top 3 choices for research on an index card.

  2. Tuesday, September 18Today I will learn how to identify credible sources so that my project information will be accurate. I will show what I have learned by completing a research form in Google Docs. • WU: Credible Sources Video • Google Research Basics • Essential questions: • What is unique about your subject? • What are his/her contributions to society? • What drives your subject to achieve? • What challenges did your subject face in life? • What are the basic facts of this person’s life? • Today’s goal: gather information to answer essential questions. Collect 10 facts. • HW: Do you need to continue researching?

  3. Wednesday, September 19Today’s objective: Today I will continue gathering information that answers questions about my biographical subject. I will document all sources on my Google Research Form., • WU: Journal #2: Gerunds • Today’s goal: Finish gathering facts that answer the essential questions. • Record all sources! • HW: Finish gathering your information.

  4. Thursday, September 20Today’s objective: Today I will investigate other genres such as poetry and music to include in my project. I will document all sources on my Google Research Form. • WU: Possessives with Gerunds • Today’s goal: Find a published poem and song that will correspond to important events in your person’s life. In addition find at least 5 important quotes by your subject. • Record all sources. • HW: Complete gerunds practice.
