  2. DAILY SCHEDULE • 7:40-7:50 Morning Work/Agenda • 7:50-8:35 Cougar Connections • 8:35-9:55 Math • 9:55-10:35 Specials • 10:35-11:40 Science andSocial Studies • 11:40-12:00 Recess • 12::00– 12:30Lunch (times vary by teacher) • 12:30-2:15 Language Arts • 2:15-2:20 Agendas/Pack up

  3. ATTENDANCE • After 7:40, parents must take students to the front office to be signed in. • The entrance to the car rider line will be closed before 7:40. • An absence must have a written excuse within 5 days to be excused.

  4. AGENDAS • Each student should have an agenda to keep track of daily assignments. • The agenda should be signed by a parent daily. • Check agenda every night to help the students stay on task and learn responsibility.

  5. Grade PLUS • Please listen to the photo story about grading and reporting in 4th grade. • We will take questions after the photo story.

  6. Some of the curriculum that will be covered: Leveled Readers Spelling English Reading Comprehension Vocabulary/ Wordly Wise Fluency LANGUAGE ARTS • Each 4th grade teacher teaches a Language Arts class

  12. HOMEWORK • Homework assignments should take approximately 50 minutes each night. Students should read an additional 20 minutes. • Homework will be completed during recess time if not completed at home.
