  1. Large Temp. Difference between Day and Night According to National Weather Service, the highest temperature in SF on Monday will reach 730F while the lowest one will be 530F. The clear sky allows the ground absorb the max radiation at daytime and also emit max radiation at night, creating a large temperature difference. On Tues. the temperature will remains high, and the highest forecasted temperature in the Bay Area in this week will appear to be 860F in Livermore. Within the next few days, the temperature could be decrease a little bit as the high pressure system approaching from the Pacific gets weaker.
