Summary • We used TEL1 for beam-beam compensation of a single proton bunch. • Repeatable lifetime improvement in the range of 15-65% has been demonstrated • Position scans suggest no harmful effects of horizontally displaced e-beam on protons (preliminary) • Based on the latest data we decided NOT to upgrade TEL1 magnetic system APD meeting, May 30, 2007
