  2. Due to problems with resources, I had to use my questionnaire I designed in a focus group.

  3. Question 1) What gender are you? • This question was used to establish what gender I should be aiming for. As you can see there is little difference so I will try to aim my mag at both genders.

  4. Question 2) How old are you? • I asked this question to see who I should aim for, for my TA. The results show that I should aim for 16-21 years old.

  5. Question 3) Town of residence? • I asked this to understand where I should place my product. Because of the varied results I am considering selling my product nationally as opposed to locally.

  6. Question 4)What is your current employment status? • I asked this so that I can see my TA disposable income. So that I can make the quality of my mag relevant to my audience.

  7. Question 5) Do you like Rock/ Metal/ Alternative Rock? • I asked this question to see if my TA is interested in my magazine. As you can see, my TA are interested.

  8. Question 6a) Do you buy music magazines? • I asked this question to see if my TA consume products that are similar to mine.

  9. Question 6b) If yes, which one? • This is just to get further understanding of what my TA like.

  10. Question 7) What colour scheme would you like to see? • I asked this so that way my TA audience can have some say about the house style of product. I agree with their choice as the black is conventional for this genre and the red suggests passion about music.

  11. Question 8) What bands do you listen to? (max of two) • I asked this so that I can make the content of my magazine more relevant. The results show that the majority of my TA prefer metal, so I shall have more content about metal.

  12. Question 9) What would you like to see on a double page spread? • I asked this again to see what my TA would like to see in my magazine. The results show that I should either make an interview or a review. I will make an interview for my DP because it will be more interesting than the review in my opinion.

  13. Question 10) What would you like to see advertised in this magazine? • Again this question will affect the content of my magazine. The results show that I should advertise an album. Seeing as the results from question 8 show that my TA prefer Bring Me The Horizon, I will make a new album for them to advertise on my DP spread.

  14. Question 11) Would you be willing to pay £2 for this magazine? • I asked this to see if my TA would by my magazine for a price that is close to competitors.

  15. Question 12) How often would you buy this magazine? • I asked this to see how often they would buy my magazine.

  16. Question 13) Where would you buy this? • I asked this so that way I can see where my TA would prefer to buy my magazine.
