  3. What Is It To Us At our teenage years, our bodies grow at a rapid rate. That means that we need the proper nutrients to keep up with our growth. Food to us teenagers is an absolute necessity. Unfortunately, most teens tend to eat junk food more often because of its convenience and the quick energy the sugar gives.

  4. Examples Of Teens and Food • Many teens like me eat every 30 minutes at home/school • Teens always carry money because we never know when we’ll get hungry • Teens like me spend all their allowance on junk food • Teens are always drinking energy drinks because the sugar gives them a quick energy

  5. How Is It Positive? • Relieves stress when we’re depressed because food contains sugar. • Provides us teens with the nutrients that we need to grow as healthy adults • Enables our bodies function and grow because we teens are usually active and playing sports • Helps us learn table manners because we need them in the future

  6. How Is It Negative? • May distract us from focusing on work because teens like me and Zarley eat during class • May cause obesity because junk food is high in calorie and fat • Costs lots of money because we teens are constantly buying food

  7. Did you know? • Chicken breast is one of the best sources of protein • Consuming omega-3 will make you smarter • We teens hate vegetables. Eating multi vitamins will help us get all the nutrients we need
