Family Goals • What is my definition of success? • Open and honest relationships with members of my family • Only in love! • Honor our parents • take care of them • Bringing our children up in the word • Everyone knows they are loved • Security • Being a team player • Set goals as a family • Being a testimony begins at home • Supporting all the members of our family in fulfilling their destiny in Christ • Time • Bonding • Building relationships with the members of our family • Having a promise from the Word • And stand on it • A life verse • Prayer • Everyone is having fun • There is joy • There are memories • A place to recover • Refuge • Safety • Healing • Confidentiality

  6. Family Goals • What does that looks like? • Scheduled time so family is a priority • Chaos free • Meals together • Away time • Vacations together • There are family traditions

Family Goals • What are my Five-Year goals? • 5 vacations in the last 5 years • Sharing the gospel with everyone in our family • Pray for every member of my family 365 * 5 = 1825 • What are my One-Year goals? • A vacation this year • Have 15 date nights • One on one with each member of the family • Spend time • Grow relationship • What can I start doing now and for the next 30 days? • Schedule the time to pray • Rising up early before dawn? • Have something good to say to everyone in your family • Bless our children • Hug all of them at least once a day

Personal Development Goals • What is my definition of success? • I know what my spiritual gifts are. • I’m using my spiritual gifts to my full potential • I am leaving a legacy of what God has done for me and my family. • I am continually learning and growing • I am well read and well rounded • I have a broad sphere of influence • I am all God created me to be. • I react appropriately to success and failure • I keep my eye on the goal of becoming more like Christ • Healing? • What does that looks like? • I journal so that my life can be reflected upon • I seek out learning opportunities • classes • I find ways to access a sphere of influence to reach unbelievers

Personal Development Goals • What are my Five-Year goals? • I have learned a new hobby. • I have created an audio CD • I have created an online discipleship program • What are my One-Year goals? • I will publish a children’s book. • I have experience another culture – (hint on the mission field) • What can I start doing now and for the next 30 days? • I have evaluated where I am now. • I have indentified things I need to stop to make room for other activities.

Financial Goals If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them, then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them – ZigZiglar Psalm 62:10 If riches increase, do not set your heart on them. Proverbs 22:7 The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another.

  13. Financial Goals $1000 Emergency Fund Pay of all debt with debt snowball 3 – 6 months of expenses in savings Invest 15% of income in retirement College Funding Pay off home early Build wealth and give a lot away.
