Businesses can either set up a website to run their business on, or to provide information about their business. It is more likely that websites are used for advertisement purposes rather than to provide an online service.

Application in the travel and tourism industry: Tour Operators and Travel Agents.

Call centers

Businesses can use call centers to help their customers make bookings, request information and make complaints.

website www thomascook com

The Thomas cook website allows you to book your holiday online. It includes all the factors like flights, accommodation, the tours, car hire and insurance.

Customers can browse the website through four different ways. Either by star rating, board basis, budget or tabs ( flights, flights and hotels-together-, cruises, extras).

On the site, they have package deals which customers can order or they can “tailor make” their holiday, to ensure that it suites all their preferences, and give them their moneys worth.
