  2. What can WE DO? • *As a moral culture, a church body, we must REPENT and PRAY and CLEAN our own homes first • (television, computer, phones, video games…) • *Promote healthy kids and families by Supportive Families and Communities especially through Churches, Supports for Adults in raising their children, Quality Information and Education, Protective Environments • *Influence policy and legislation • *Promote community education

  3. What can WE DO? • *Identify Pornography as a Public Health Concern – acknowledge that the effect is so broad and potential for harm so great, it cannot be only up to individuals to solve. (Funding for research; pilot programs for solutions; show the addiction to users (2008 – Perrin) • *Choose who/what we will support (businesses, products, labels, communities, ect.) Money Talks…

  4. What can WE DO? • *Be aware of public policies such as the New York City’s 200 plus public libraries allow adult patrons to view pornography because as told the New York Post it is “consenting adults for consenting adults protected under the 1st Amendment for Free Speech.” Kids can see this and hear this!!!

  5. What can WE DO? • *Ideas: What if ??? Google was Porn Free; Porn was difficult for anyone to access; family time return to wholesome programming; or like in Sweden, any and all such imaging would not be allowed; companies take stands like Scholastic 2008 bann Bratz Products; • Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. • “If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito” by Bette Reese.
