  3. Weather the condition of the air at a certain time and place Weather is what the air around you is right now! Can you describe some weather?

  4. Temperature A measure of how warm something is.

  5. Humidity The amount of water vapor, or moisture in the air

  6. Precipitation Water that falls to the ground from the clouds as rain, snow, sleet, or hail

  7. Climate The average weather of a place over a very long period of time.

  8. How is the climate in the deserts of Africa Dry Hot

  9. What is the climate in the South Pole? Dry Cold

  10. What is the climate in the Amazon Rain Forest? Hot Wet

  11. Climate Zones Earth has 3 major climate zones: tropical, temperate, and polar

  12. Temperate Climate Moderate, not too hot or too cold. Not too dry or too wet. Tennessee has a temperate climate!! Most of the US has a temperate climate.
