  1. Mary Kom clinches fifth gold medal at Asian Boxing Championship The redoubtable M C Mary Kom (48kg) indented up her fifth gold award at the Asian Women's Boxing Championships, winning a savagely challenged summit conflict today. Up against North Korea's Kim Hyang Mi, the five-time title holder and Olympic bronze-medallist Indian won in a consistent 5-0 decision to add another award to her officially swarmed bureau. This is Mary Kom's first global gold award since the 2014 Asia Cup and her first decoration in finished a year. In Hyang Mi, the 35-year-old Mary Kom discovered her most forceful rival so far in the competition however she was up for the errand. Not at all like her past sessions, in which the opening three minutes were perpetually spent measuring up the opponent, both the boxers were rushing at each other close to the chime going off. Coordinated equitably in speed and accuracy, Mary Kom scored for her ringcraft, which incorporated some fine footwork to outpace Hyang Mi at critical points. There was not really any power-hitting in plain view however the challenge was made connecting with by the boxers' quick paced trade of punches. Click Here To Know - Women's Hocky Asia Cup
