  1. Desert Island Survival • Suitable for groups of all sizes and for students intermediate to advanced level students. • Slide 1. Put sts into groups and explain that their plane has crashed and they are the only survivors. • Slide 2. Sts use + and - adjectives to describe the desert island and their emotions • Slide 3. Allow sts 5-10 mins to write a list using the second conditional, based on the target Q’s. Show slide 4 before they start, to provide some inspiration. • Allow sts 5-10 mins to discuss their answers in groups or with a partner and vote on the best choices. • Ask the sts to briefly share their ideas with the rest of the class.

  4. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what would you want with you? 1. Make your own list writing sentences in the second conidtional. Give reasons why. Which real life person? Which fictional character? Which book? Which ONE song? Which game? Which ONE TV Program? Which food? 2. Team discussion and vote for each category.
