  1. Three Pathways aligned with K-12 Curriculum • Cooperative Innovative High School Pathway • Career and Technical Education Pathway leading to a certificate • Core 44 College Transfer Pathway leading to a minimum of 30 hours of college transfer credit

  2. I. Cooperative Innovative High School • No restrictions on courses that can be taken in the vocational/technical areas or in the college transfer areas • Placement testing only required if individual courses have prerequisites

  3. II. Career and Technical Education Pathway • Eligibility • Be a high school junior or senior • Have a weighted GPA of 3.0 on high school courses or have the recommendation of the high school principal or his/her designee • Meet the testing requirements for any courses in the pathway

  4. III. Core 44 Transfer Pathways • Humanities and Social Science • Business and Economics • Engineering and Mathematics • Life and Health Sciences

  5. Core 44 College Transfer Pathway • Eligibility • Be a high school junior or senior • Have a weighted GPA of at least 3.0 on high school courses • Demonstrate college readiness on an assessment or placement test in English, reading and math

  6. Assessment Tests for Placement • PLAN (high school sophomores) • PSAT • Asset • Compass • Accuplacer • SAT • ACT (high school juniors)

  7. Additional Facts • Students may enroll in both a CT Pathway and a CTE pathway if they meet the entrance requirements • Provisional Acceptance into CT Pathway • Junior or Senior status • 3.5+ weighted high school GPA • Grades of C or better in 2 HS English courses and Algebra II (or higher) • Approval of HS Principal and CC President
