  1. Los mini pueblos

  2. Day 1 • 40 minutes • Find clipart of places in town. Print out today or print at home in colortonight. • Create street names. Decide the 3 places for your guests to go. Find street stuff (traffic lights, crosswalks, etc.) • Draw blueprint of town on scrap paper. • As a whole group, begin drawing layout onto posterboard. • 10 minutes: Clean up! I will be monitoring everyone’s participation if you are working in a group. DO NOT GET SIDE TRACKED!

  3. Day 2 & 3 • 15 minutes: Using your blueprint, write the: • Túcommands for your friend • Ustedcommands for dad's boss • Ustedescommands for the married couple • 30 minutes: On posterboard, get down • layout of streets using rulers • cut out and begin gluing down places • labeling streets, cutting out stop signs, lights and crosswalks, any extra drawing (i.e. lakes, parks, etc.) • 5 minutes: Clean up! I will be monitoring everyone’s participation if you are working in a group. DO NOT GET SIDE TRACKED!

  4. Day 4 • 10 minutes: Using your posterboardmap, peer edit each other's commands using your notes. • *Person who wrote tú, check usted. • *Person who wrote usted, check ustedes. • *Person who wrote ustedes, check tú. • 30 minutes: On posterboard, • Make final copy of commands on plain paper. • NO PENCIL! • Finish coloring, labeling, etc. • Bring directions, map, and rubric to me to be stapled! I will be monitoring everyone’s participation if you are working in a group. DO NOT GET SIDE TRACKED!
