  3. PAGE NUMBERS go in the UPPER LEFT-HAND CORNER, and FOLLOW YOUR LAST NAME • Your FULL NAME, the CLASS (English 112), the TEACHER (Mr. Kortschak), the DATE, and your TITLE are listed, in that order, at the START of your essay:

  4. WORKS CITED PAGE • This is where you put your BIBLIOGRAPHICAL CITATION • Write “Works Cited” at the top of your last page, centred, and in size-12 Times New Roman. Then put your citation. • DON’T FORGET! You MUST USE hanging indentation:

  5. CITATION ISSUES • PUNCTUATION: In an in-text citation, the period ALWAYS GOES after the citation – NEVER before. This goes for exclamation and question marks as well: When it comes to police lieutenant James Gordon, however, Batman states that “all the right people seem to hate him” (Miller 36)
