What is an Emulator By definition it is a “hardware, software that enables a computer to act like an other computer and run applications written for that program” This software is mimicking (or emulating) a certain type of program In our case it is mimicking a Sega Genesis console entertainment system

  3. Emulator Details • Emulator version we used is called Fusion 3.51 • Emulator can mimic any title of the Sega console video game library, from the Sega • Basically it is used to play video games!!  

  4. How to Start K-Fusion • Click on executable file labeled Fusion.exe • Note: When the program first start it shows a screen with white static. This is normal, later the screen will be clear and ready for use • Click on the Main Menu and chose option File. • Now we can load any game that’s available on computer • Under this option is where “ROM” (or game) files can be loaded into the emulator from any location (folder or drive) from the computer 

  5. Special Options • We can also load Master System, Game Gear, Genesis, Sega CD • Sega CD can be loaded by clicking on Boot Sega CD 

  6. System options  Soft Reset

  8. System options Power on/Hard Reset

  9. Online Functionality Click on File ->Net Play

  10. Loading & Saving Load State As… Save State As…

  11. Video Settings • Scanlines 100%
