For starters, we’re about the size of Virginia Tech

2008 : 64,454 unduplicated student head count, 27,725 FTES

We’re changing and growing rapidly - Spring 2009, total enrollment is 40,777, and a total of 24,087 FTE.

Students are younger, and taking more classes – more of the traditional college student than in the past.

Woodbridge and Manassas Renovations of Existing Academic Buildings – 168,000 S.F

NOVA was asked to provide a list of projects, but hasn’t heard anything further.

BUDGET ISSUES?

Richmond Times Dispatch reports that the estimated deficit for this year is between $2.9 and $3.2 billion, but may not go higher.

IMPACT ON NOVA? We just don’t know.
