  1. Introduction • Lions live on a plain (savanna). • Savannas are flat grasslands that have few trees. • Lions share the savanna with grazing animals such as antelopes, zebras, and wildebeest. • Lions kill and eat these animals. • In India lions live in a forest habitat and eat deer.
