  1. The Bastrop Main Street Program’s vision is the continued preservation and enhancement of our historic downtown area as the prosperous economic and cultural heart of our community. The Bastrop Main Street Program’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for the continued revitalization, preservation and economic health of our historic downtown area through collaboration with other organizations and use of community resources and volunteer insights, talents and energies within the Four Points: organization, design, economic restructuring and promotions.

Bastrop Culinary District • Eighteen “eateries”: • Plus Food-related Businesses – Eleven! • A Key Downtown Industry • Industry businesses employ over 230 people which is approximately 20% of all employees in the BMSP area • Number of businesses in this industry (29) constitute over 11% of all business in the BMSP area • Supporting through Marketing and Advertising • Edible Austin • Yelp and Four Square • Supporting through Training Opportunities • Facebook and Instagram • Business Plan Development
