El origen de los vejigantes • Los Vejigantes representa los morros en la guerra catolica de San James en el siglo doce. • Tambien, estan referencias en “Don Quixote” que los vejigantes symboliza el diablo. • Pero ahora, los vejigantes sacan una cara nueva porque de las influencias de los Tainos y los Africanos.

  3. Los Vejigantes Ahora • Los Puertorriqueños celebrar el dia de San James con el uso de los vejigantes. • En los festivales de ahora, el vejigante symboliza resistencia, colonialismo, y imperialismo. • Estos festivales tiene cuatro caracteres el caballero, los vejigantes, los viejos, y las locas.

  4. ¡Ponce! • En Ponce, las macaras hacen de papel maché y contenes muchos cuernos. • El traje en Ponce se muy similar de el traje en Loiza.

  5. Los Artistas Famosas • Juan Alindato: Nacó en 1921 y era de ponce. Usa mucho cuernos y mismo mas de doce capas de papel –maché.

  6. Los artistas Famosas • Miguel Caraballo: Nacó en 1924. El usa cuernos mucho, muchos lienas y muchos puntos. Los mascaras valen en el medio de 300-500$.
