The Season • Calendar is located on the Team Website under the calendar tab (takes you to ACTC website calendar) • http://actcvexrobotics.weebly.com/calendar.html • Dates and times of scheduled build sessions are set • Milestones are also listed • **There will be NO additional days added** • You essentially have 6 weeks to design, build, program, and test your robot prior to competition! • Mentors expect deadlines to be met on time!

Facilities/Lab Area • We will always meet in Mr. Bacher’s Lab area at the designated time unless instructed otherwise. • You will leave the lab/classroom the way you found it at the end of every session. • Follow safety procedures when working in the lab at all times! • Take care of your tools and materials • Abuse, neglect, or intentional damage to them will result in your removal from the team!

  12. Brainstorming • Split up into groups • Brainstorm about possible robot designs • Record ideas & sketches on the poster boards • Consult the game manual if needed

  13. Presentation of Brainstorming • Each brainstorming team will present their ideas to the group • Discussion of strategy and objectives

  14. Decision Matrix • Create a Decision Matrix for possible designs • Rating each design against criteria and constraints
