This week's highlights include the lunch menu featuring pepperoni pizza and ham/cheese bun options. A warm welcome to Mrs. O’Flaherty, the new Library Aide, as we bid farewell to Mrs. McCarty on August 31. Remember, schedule change requests are due today with parent signatures. Celebrate the girls’ soccer team and join the National Honor Society meeting on August 28. Student passes for varsity football are now available. Volunteers are needed for the Dresden Mellon Festival. Join the Yearbook staff and prom planning committee—act fast before deadlines!

  3. Library News • New library staff • Mrs. McCarty’s last day is Friday, August 31st • Mrs. O’Flaherty is the new Library Aide at TVHS • Please make her feel welcome!

  4. Afternoon Bus Line-up • 1st group (CAFÉ area) leaves after approx. 3 minutes (you do not have time to go to locker, etc.) • Hustle to your location!!! • 30-31-10-25-6-7-23-36-32 • 2nd group – Adamsville – out front • Rest in CAFÉ area

  5. Student Drivers • Park in the pit lot from now on • unless you are a band member (see Ms. Blevins) • Open parking until you are assigned a spot • If you have not filled out an application – get one in the main office

  6. Schedule Change Deadline • Today, August 24th • Yellow slips must be signed by a parent and turned into guidance by this date!

  7. Girls’ Soccer • Won over John Glenn • 6 – 1 • JV won 1 - 0

  8. National Honor Society • All members are to attend a brief meeting • Tuesday, August 28th • After school • In B-10 • Will last until 3 PM

  9. Varsity Football Student Passes • On sale in the office • $10 for 5 home games • Will also be on sale during lunches • Wednesday, August 29th

  10. Volunteers Needed • Mr. Furek needs volunteers • For tomorrow’s Dresden Mellon Festival • Sign-up in T-5 • Several slots available • See him for details
