Objectives „Risk and Ecstasy“ • partecipation… • meet, fun, talk, laugh, ponder… • feel fine together with the assistants • Collaboration with youth centres • why youngsters get involved with „Risk and Ecstasy“? • talk about the culture of rapture and the search for risk • gain information about substances • reach a European vision

  5. The workshop „Risk and Ecstasy“25- 27 October 2002 • First day: „Risk and Ecstasy“Relationships • Second day: „Risk and Ecstasy“Adventure • Third day: „Risk and Ecstasy“Drugs

  6. The workshop „Risk and Ecstasy“- Methods - • “interactive experience” • role play • “base jumping” • individual work • small groups work • open discussion • flyers and educational material daily and domestic activities “night adventure”

  7. Tranfer and support • youngstes should not be“Peer leaders” • youth centres as meeting points • contact with the assistants • from time to time ponder on „Risk and Ecstasy“ • Partecipation to the meeting “CROSSING BORDERS” in Italy/July 2003

Problems • not enough time: shortage of time was the reason why we could not complete the project (Euro youth) • distances:the participants and the assistants live in different places in the Alto Adige region (distances more than 100 km) • not enough time 2: the project group had little time for collaboration

  9. First results – what was positive… • new friendships • there are more ways to have fun • information on drugs are important and helpful • “ponder” on „Risk and Ecstasy” • youth centres as meeting points • youngsters ask for more workshops like „Risk and Ecstasy“ • network (schools, parents, youth centres, press)
