  6. The Week Ahead This week we will begin simplifying rational expressions. In order to simplify we must review factoring first.

  7. Factoring Factoring is the process of writing an expression as a multiplication problem. Factoring “undoes” multiplication

  8. Example 1 – Factor the expression: Identify the GCF 2. Write the answer in factored form
